You can easily find someone by typing in their name on a search and it will pull up information about you. That’s why it is very important to keep web presences professional because you never know who is looking. You may be applying for a job but the manager comes across your web presence, finds something unprofessional, and you loose that job opportunity. By setting your web presence on private you are able to limit the amount of people who can see it and keep it amongst people you know.
